IGL’s Phoenix, Arizona Branch location is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing dynamic warehouse & distribution operations which involves a wide range of goods on behalf of our clients, while ensuring compliance with regulations, tech-savvy interfaces, and modern technologies.
The Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage, and fulfillment of a wide range of goods. They manage people, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met, while adhering to health and safety regulations. A strong emphasis is placed on leveraging technology to optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, complete, and inspect all necessary documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and OS&D declarations.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and safety compliance.
- Ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods.
- Implement operational policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain customer relationships and satisfactory rapport.
- Interact with customers via phone, email, WMS and in person
- Meet with prospective clients to showcase warehouse, people, systems, and service.
- Provide quotes for short term and long term storage and liase with IGL sales representatives.
- Deliver proposals and contracts, verify and validate criteria specific to warehouse projects such as Insurance and contractual compliance.
- Assist with sales efforts to negotiate and close new business to build warehouse customer base.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) accurately and productively to monitor and manage inventory and generate applicable customer charges.
- Implement and maintain inventory management software and barcode scanning technology.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with IT for system upgrades and maintenance.
- Plan an dcoordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work with suppliers and transport companies to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee the preparation of orders and ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and trainings sessions.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest warehouse technologies and industry trends.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Negotiable, Commensurate with Experience, Eligible for Profitability-based bonuses and referral-based bonuses.
Work Schedule: Generally Monday-Friday 1st shift, with some occasional weekend or overtime project facilitation as needed.
Work Location: In person, Phoenix, Arizona US
Ability to Relocate: Phoenix, AZ: Candidates outside the greater Phoenix area must relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience / Requirements:
- Must have minimum five years experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Must be proficient in warehouse management system (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Must have strong understanding of modern warehouse practices and procedures.
- Must have excellent leadership & organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate strong ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Must posess strong knowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Must have tech-savvy aptitude with a keen interest in implementing an dutilizing new technologies.
- Must have fork-lift certification.
- Must be & remain drug-free.
- Must be able to operate computer system effectively & accurately.
- Must be able to adhere to standard safety processes & policies.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have strong organizational & communication skills – oral & written.
- Must be able to complete job tasks while demonstrating adequate care, concern & good-stewardship for our company resources.
- Must be able to engage with internal & external staff, customers, and vendors in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must demonstrate steady employment and dependability with a vetted history of effective leadership.
Priority will be given to candidates who also hold any of the below:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
- IATA Certified Training Professional (CTP)
- International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Certification
